The many faces of Sandy Bay Pre-School

As I stated in an earlier blog, we went to a local pre-school where the brides family donated a huge suitcase of school supplies.  As a personal project, I tagged along to create some images.  I only brought 1 camera,  and 1 lens (a 50mm F1.8) and I photographed the whole thing B&W in camera.  I didn’t want to be distracted with colours.  I wanted to mute them all so that your attention is brought to the faces of my subjects.

James …… loved the photos of the kids … the expressions, the lighting, contrast of the eyes and muted colouring.

The innocence of youth….just like your B&W shots clear and obvious. When did we get so complicated in our lives and photography. Refreshing post James!

James, great images. Looks like the children were as interested in you as you were in them.
