Melanie & Moe Were Married Today

Saturday, September 22nd, 2012

Well it was a wet one today, but our B&G and Bridal Party were all game for heading out doors for some creative photo fun.  We LOVE it when this happens and I have always said that even though the rain is a %&^#& to work with  you can always create some stunning images.

Fun With Matt & Julie

Saturday, August 11th, 2012

Today Joce and I had the greatest pleasure of photographing the wedding of Julie & Matt.  Although the weather didn’t always cooperate today we did however get the chance to stroll around the city and create some stunning outdoor wedding images.  These two were fabulous together in a way that you really couldn’t capture a bad image.  Throw in a high energy bridal party, some crazy concepts and a few props and you have your self a winner of a wedding day.   Thanks again you two and congrats!!  See you when you get back from the honeymoon.

Jola & Eric Were Married Today.

Saturday, June 16th, 2012

PHEWW!!!!  What a wicked wedding we had today.  Although the sun beat down on us all day,  Jola & Eric (along with their kickass bridal party) hung in there with smiles on their faces the whole time.   I swear I should write  a book called “Things I hear on the wedding day, or Sh*t brides and brides maids say” hahaha.  My stomach still hurts from laughing all day.  We had an amazing time tromping around Sudz with this gang and it reminds of us of why we photograph weddings.  Thanks again everyone, you made today one amazing day!

Krista & Rob Were Married Today!

Saturday, June 9th, 2012

Krista & Rob tied the knot today on this gorgeous Saturday.  The weather was looking bleak, but it the wedding Gods were in our favor today and it turned out to be the perfect day for a wedding.  We had blast with Rob & Krista photographing  in Memorial Park downtown and then continuing on to Anderson Farm in Lively.   Both families and bridal party were a joy to hang out with as they all kept the momentum rolling.  Thanks again Krista & Rob for allowing Jocelyne and myself to be a part of your amazing wedding.

Photography Shoot-Out

Tuesday, May 29th, 2012

Yesterday I participated in a friendly shoot-out with Rob Provencher & Kerry Allan.  We each threw down the gloves and went head to head for the first of many Photography SchoolHouse Ditto Cam Shoot-Outs which will air tonight.  We initially had a bride and groom but at the last minute the groom couldn’t make it, so the three of us set out around town looking for different lighting scenarios and locations.  I think between the three of us we covered loads of shooting styles and techniques, from harsh sun, to Off Camera Flash, to finding that sweet light.   I always learn something when I go out and photograph with other photographers.  It’s great to see others in action and how they “tackle” similar photography situations.  I am curious to see what the other two photogs came up with, but I know those two old geysers  had a hard time seeing the controls on their cameras hahahaha and one photographer forgot his camera completely. 🙂  Ok Boys!!!  Let’s see what you got. 🙂 See you tonight.
