Tuesday, May 17th, 2016I enjoy getting snailmail. When I come home from shooting and I see something sticking out of the mailbox, a little bit of joyful glee comes over me when I realize it’s an industry magazine. I take my time going through each page reading the articles and enjoying the photography of others in the industry but in the back of my head I am hoping to see one of my images being used every time I flip the page. It’s not about me, but more about my clients. I enjoy the fact that they are using my images for what they were intended for in the proper marketing media.
Here are a few images that were recently in the latest issue of www.miningmagazine.com for writeups on 2 of my clients Joy Global and Dumas Mining

Wednesday, May 11th, 2016When traveling to other Countries to photograph mining industrial operations I always try to get out and about to talk & photograph the locals trying to capture a piece of their story in a single image.
Professionally created images can bring more attention to your marketing materials. Take a look at your images, ask others, look at your competitors and see if your images are in the same “league”. If not, then it’s time to upgrade your media library.

Tuesday, August 18th, 2015After the converter was fabricated and moved from Anmar the 10o+ ton titan made it’s journey to the Vale Smelter. Only a few Kilometers up the highway the 3hr trip was slow moving as power lines needed to be raised and traffic directed to ensure a safe journey.

Monday, August 17th, 2015The second Clean AER (Clean Atmospheric Emissions Reduction Project) converter leaves it’s home from Anmar now that fabrication is done. Weighing in over 100 tones this unit looks minute in the 130,000 square foot fabrication shop but when you get up close and personal the converter is anything but. The Converter is easily maneuvered through the shop and out the access door awaiting it’s transport to Vale’s smelter.
