A great write-up in the recent edition of Sudbury Mining Solutions on Macleans new Battery-Powered Scissor Bolter (CV3) that I photographed earlier last Month in Sudbury.

I enjoy getting snailmail. When I come home from shooting and I see something sticking out of the mailbox, a little bit of joyful glee comes over me when I realize it’s an industry magazine. I take my time going through each page reading the articles and enjoying the photography of others in the industry but in the back of my head I am hoping to see one of my images being used every time I flip the page. It’s not about me, but more about my clients. I enjoy the fact that they are using my images for what they were intended for in the proper marketing media.
Here are a few images that were recently in the latest issue of www.miningmagazine.com for writeups on 2 of my clients Joy Global and Dumas Mining

I had the honor of photographing the Sudbury Mine Rescue District Competition that took place at the Lively Arena back in 2014.

When traveling to other Countries to photograph mining industrial operations I always try to get out and about to talk & photograph the locals trying to capture a piece of their story in a single image.

Professionally created images can bring more attention to your marketing materials. Take a look at your images, ask others, look at your competitors and see if your images are in the same “league”. If not, then it’s time to upgrade your media library.

I recently had a discussion with a friend of mine (who’s company also used my photography services) about the photos I create for my clients in regards to return on investment. I was pleased to know that the company was happy with the images, but more importantly they are using the images in a variety of media to market their company. With the amount of usage the images are getting the ROI far exceeds the initial cost of the photoshoot.

First I found myself at MIC and now I have made my way to diGusto. Having these two gentleman around me multiple times while photographing their establishments and culinary creations I finally got the opportunity to put these two brothers in front of the camera this morning for a quick snapshot. I still think I came out with the better end of the deal as I walked away with a pizza and other goodies that I was reluctant to share with my wife. Looking forward to photographing (and tasting) diGusto’s menu items next week. Stay tuned.

Yes, I felt like making up a day today so I dedicated it to Mining Trucks. There are just so many to chose from so while it’s chilly outside this morning I picked this this image because I remember it being so freakin hot outside while on location for this shoot. Oh to be back there right now.

As my previous post showcased how one company used their custom photography images across multiple platforms the same can be said for the Killarney Mountain Lodge. Not only did they secure the web url www.killarney.com (I still cannot believe that this domain name was available) but they have created a very user friendly eye catching website that showcases their facility and services. On top of that they promote their business via their Facebook Page, Twitter & Instagram. They even showcase their custom photography with hardcopy marketing in the form of brochures and trade show booths. One “block” of images can be used across multiple social media marketing platforms including TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, Newspaper and Tradeshows.

I am accepting Custom Creative Shoots starting in April (Indoors) and May (Outdoors). If interested drop me a line and lets discuss what Quality Images can do for your marketing materials.

This is an oldy but still one of my favorite images especially when I had a large metal print made from the image for display. I captured this just as a few rocks slid down the front slop and created this HUGE dust cloud that eventually enveloped the cat.

Take a look at the images you are using to market your company. Are they out of date? Irrelevant? Low Quality? STOCK? If you answered YES to any of these then your marketing materials are misrepresenting your company.
