Sudbury Photographer Meets Sudbury Designz

Today we photographed interiors designed by Marie Andrews for her new website  I hope our photography has done these rooms justice.  WOW!  These rooms look amazing.  You know me, i’m not one for color schemes, wall paper, throw rugs and all the other stuff that goes into creating these works of art, but was I blown away.   My hat’s off to all you interior commercial photographers.  This is not an easy job.   I realized that with interior photography you can go down a few different roads.  You just take a snapshot of the overal room.  You can do a long exposure using the ambient room lights (although the windows always get blown out), or you can take your time, finesse the image, and use 5 or 6 different light sources to really make the image and room pop.  Using lights to create shadows in key places can really change quality of the image.  With interiors like this, there were so many different areas that we had to light up, that in one image I had to use a white garbage plastic garbage bin as a reflector. 🙂  Oh ya, and those little snowglobe  lights I bought (for those of you that know what I am talking about) they worked AWESOME!  Here are just a few of the rooms Marie has redone from scratch.
