I am very cheap!!!
Sometimes. Actually I got this idea from my friend Rob Provencher when I was over at his studio last taking images for NoBs. We call it, the “Poor Man’s Ringlight with Rich Man’s Results” ringlight. Ringlights can range anywhere from six to eight hundred dollars, but this little beauty here cost me $66 plus some cheap labour. The light is a flourescent ceiling light you would find in many kitchens, but with a little re-wiring and some cutting I obtained a great ringlight. I had the chance to finally test it out today Cindy after our firefighter shoot. It’s called a “ringlight” because of the “ring” of light that appears in the eyes.
