A Sudbury Ontario Commercial Photographer

Normally I am photographing everything that rusts but I found myself a little rusty last night while on my first family shoot in over a year.  Luckily I knew them all as they were one of my wonderful wedding clients of 2012 and they still had 2 sessions leftover from their wedding package.  It didn’t take me long to get back into the swing of things, but I do have a new appreciation for Joce and what she brought to the table during our sessions.

Here is another image from last nights sessions.  As I was editing through the images this one stood out to me the most.  I don’t know if it’s because when I was young I had a stuffed bunny that never left my side?  Maybe it’s the interaction between the 3 of them?  Or maybe it’s the story telling behind the image.  Sometimes it’s the little things that hold the most meaning to us when we are older.

Joce and I just finished an awesome outdoor family portrait session with one of our previous wedding couples.  I know this isn’t the family portrait, but that’s because their daughter basically stole the show LOL.   She is soooooooooooooooo adorable I just had to post one of her.

Now is the time to start planning your outdoor Summer Family Portrait.  Soon the weather will warm up and the leaves will come out and we can start creating some family memories.   Think of a special location like a favorite park or maybe your summer cottage where your portrait will have meaning.  Don’t wait until the end of Summer when it might be to late.

The warmer weather is just around the corner and soon we will be photographing our family sessions with green grass, sunny skies, and blue water.

Sometimes just before you get your subject to look at the camera I will grab a few frames while they are playing around with each other.  Once in awhile you can capture a moment that means something to them.  That’s what happened here.  This is how they are, this is it, you can’t stage this.  Mom loved it.

Here is another from our outdoor Fall Family Portraits Sessions.  Although I have loads of images where they are all looking at the camera, I love this image even more because of that “connection” mother & daughter had at this moment.

Jocelyne and I managed to get a few family sessions done today before the rain started.  This little was happy just roaming around by himself, so we let him do his own thing.
